A notable aspect of the property experience is its friendly and attentive staff, who have received praise for their helpfulness and thoughtful touches during guests’ stays. I'm not one for reviews but Brooke at the Peter Herdic Inn went above and beyond and I couldn't not share the experience. The day of our reservation, she texted to find out what time we'd be arriving and to see if we wanted to make dinner reservations. When our 6 hour drive turned into a 9 hour debacle, we arrived exhausted but found a beautiful inn and lovely rooms. Even though the restaurant had closed an hour before, Brooke brought us wine and made sure we had everything we needed, including helping me wrestle my dog's crate out of the car. The next morning, we had the most spectacular breakfast, also thanks to Brooke and a colleague. If you come through this area, stay here. It will be a very special experience, trust me.

Cons: Finding the parking for the Inn is beyond confusing. I was sent a message with directions on how to find it. But, it is on a very tiny back road and the parking itself is very tight. There is no longer breakfast available. This is stated on their website. But, it is a little disappointing. Especially with the price, it would be nice to have the full experience of a Bed and Breakfast. There is a kitchen. But, it is self serve. The first two days of my stay there was no creamer/milk to be found for coffee. There are also only cereal bars available for “breakfast”. I feel that something light such as pastries or bagels would have been nice. I ended up going down the road to the local diner for breakfast each morning. I stayed in the Balcony room. The room itself was very cute, sophisticated and comfortable. I even had my own balcony. BUT, to get to my room you have to go through your “private” bathroom. I noticed this was the only door that did not have a keypad on it. So, during the day when I was gone it could not be locked. It did make me feel a little uneasy that anyone could walk into the bathroom. Hence why I didn’t leave any personal belongings anywhere but my room. As far as PROS: this is a very cute and quaint Inn with a lot of history. If you want simple and comfortable place to stay that is centrally located, this is it. I was able to leave my car parked for the trip and walk to the destinations I wanted to. Right next door is their restaurant (The Peter Herdic House). More upscale, but affordable dining with very good food and service. Downtown with the shops is a block away as well as any other sort of entertainment.

If there was an option to give more stars, we definitely would. The accommodations were amazing! We had a jacuzzi and a piano in our room. Lindsey (our contact) was so helpful throughout. The kitchen was full of goodies! The restaurant next door was first class as usual! Do yourself a favor and stay here!

This was certainly one of the more pleasant stays I've had at a B&B. It's clean and quiet and centrally located in Williamsport. The breakfast was expertly prepared and simply delicious; very good. The only minor complaint I have is that our queen sized bed was adorned with two miniature and uncomfortable foam rubber bed pillows. At a minimum, a queen size bed should have four pillows, and if not, at least two hearty, comfortable and restful pillows. Needless to say, I didn't get a good night's sleep here. That being said, I would recommend the place.

The property was spectacular and definitely the best choice to stay when in Williamsport! Beautiful finishes, historic details, spacious interior, parking is super convenient right by the property. The host is friendly and set up a nice breakfast for everyone in the morning and entertained with engaging conversations. Leslie also had beers, cold water, fruits and snacks for everyone in the house which is unbelievable and superior to staying in any hotel. Definitely recommend!

Sheila (host) was very accommodating and answered back very promptly. Nikki (housekeeper) made herself very accessible and was very sweet. The kitchen was loaded with every possible amenity anyone would want. There were fresh baked granola bars, fresh strawberries, eggs, fruit, milk, coffee, beer and wine just to name a few “extras!” Great location and walking distance to restaurants and a huge grocery store! We loved the beautiful Victorian decor and our own personal balcony. We will definitely be back!

Wanted to find an out of the way (and out of the crowds) hotel for Penn State Graduation Weekend. It is a bit more than an hour from State College but well worth the travel time. The Inn and the staff were wonderful - welcoming, super friendly, and accommodating to our need to leave earlier than breakfast is typically served on Saturday morning. We were able to enjoy the full breakfast on Sunday morning while enjoying conversation about the history of the area. Rooms are beautifully appointed with Victorian antiques. I may need to find another reason to visit Williamsport again!

The Herdic House is a pillar of history and the epitome of elegant cusine. The best drinks in town, for those who fancy the spirits! Also. It's freaking pink!
